Choosing the right ring size online can feel tricky, but we are here to help you get it right. Before you measure, here is everything you need to know to ensure a flawless fit:
- Always measure your fingers at the end of the day. This is when they are at their largest.
- Hands tend to swell in the warmth and shrink in the cold. If you are caught between two sizes, we always recommend opting for the larger one.
- Your dominant hand is often slightly larger. Keep in mind that a size measured for your left hand might not perfectly fit the same finger on your right hand.
How to Measure at Home (The Inside Diameter Method)
The most reliable way to find your size at home is by using a ring you already own that fits your desired finger perfectly.
- Place and Align: Take your ring and place it on top of a sharp ruler or measuring tape.
- Measure the Inside: Measure the straight distance across the inside of the ring from one inner wall to the other (do not include the thickness of the metal).
- Get the Millimeters: Note down the exact measurement in millimeters.
- Match Your Size: Compare your inside diameter with our sizing chart below.
Method 2: The Circumference (Using a measuring tape or paper)
If you don't have a ring to measure, you can find the circumference of your finger instead.
- Wrap it Comfortably: Wrap a flexible measuring tape (or a thin strip of paper) tightly around the base of your finger. Tip: Make sure it can slide comfortably over your knuckle!
- Mark the Overlap: If using paper, use a pen to mark the exact point where the end overlaps.
- Measure the Length: Lay the paper flat against a ruler and measure the distance to your mark in millimeters. This gives you your finger's circumference.
- Match Your Size: Compare your millimeters with the circumference column in our sizing chart.
